Chaar Sahibjaade has surprised in big way.Film collected 3.94 cr nett in 3rd week.Film has crossed 12 cr nett in 21 days and is now highest grossing Punjabi film ever By beating Diljit Dosanjh-Neeru bajwa's Jatt and juliet 2. 

The overseas total is $2.5 million in three weeks which is also new record for animation film in India.Film also collected 5.50 cr nett outside Punjab which is also a record.The Hindi version has grossed 2 crore nett approx in India giving it an all India total of 17.50 crore nett. As a result movie makes it a total gross of 38 crore worldwide.

Punjabi Action Film BAAZ Disappoints At Box Office.Movie Starring by Babbu Maan,Pooja Verma,Yograj Singh, Sardar Sohi & Mukul Dev And Directed by Simerjit Singh.

Movie Collected 45 lakhs, 40 lakhs, 42 lakhs over weekend and 63 lakhs total Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday respectively. Film has collected 1.90 cr nett in 1st week and now film is heading for 2.50 cr nett lifetime total which is a disappointment.Film had below par business in overseas market too.
''Chaar Sahibjaade'' released last week and it is on the way to create new history and that is why other big release ''Baaz'' suffered at box office.

Chaar Sahibzade Animated Punjabi Movie 2nd Weekend Collections

CHAAR SAHIBJAADE Is Heading For Highest Ever Grosser Record In Punjabi Market,Crosses 8.15 Cr Nett In Punjab
Film collected 3.55 cr nett plus in week one which was rock solid considering competition from Bollywood and low opening on Friday. Film trended so well on weekdays that all weekdays were higher than Friday numbers. 

Film started 2nd week even on higher note despite competition from another Punjabi release ''Baaz''. Filmcollected 55 lakhs nett on 2nd Friday which was more than double of 1st Friday. Film jumped big on 2nd Saturday and collected 77 lakhs nett and 88 lakhs nett on Sunday thus taking 2nd weekend total to 2.20 cr nett. 

Film added 48 lakhs nett, 52 lakhs nett, 56 lakhs nett and 59 lakhs nett on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday respectively. Film has collected 4.35 cr nett in 2nd week and now film stands with total of 8.15 cr nett in two weeks in East Punjab. 

Film will cross 11.75 cr nett Highest ever lifetime record of ''Jatt & Juliet 2'' which will be outstanding. This will be also new record for animation film in India and film might become highest grosser ever in Punjab for a Punjabi film. Film also collected 3.95 cr nett outside Punjab which is also a record. 

Film is doing phenomenal business in overseas market too and collect 1.75 million $ in 10 days and will easily cross 2.25 million $ minimum from here. This is again an all time record for a Punjabi film.

The Shaukeens,Chaar Sahibzaade,Rang Rasiya:1st Week Box Office Collections

The Shaukeens has done decent business at the box office after one week. The film did show some growth over the weekend, though after that it had a 50% fall from Friday. The weekdays stayed pretty steady though and the numbers from Monday to Thursday averaged around the 2.5 crore mark on a daily basis. Resultantly, a little over 28 crores came in Week One. The film would have competition though from Kill Dil in its second week and a lot would depend on how the Ranveer Singh-Govinda-Ali Zafar-Parineeti Chopra starrer does. That would decide the eventual lifetime run of the Abhishek Sharma directed comedy.

Rang Rasiya, despite all the good reviews, has flopped at the box office. The film collected in the range of 3.5-4 crore and is hardly in the running now. The person who has benefitted most from the film is Randeep Hooda who has seen some all around good feedback coming his way.

Filmmaker Harry Baweja has tasted success a decade after Qayamat (2003) in the form of animation flick Chaar Sahibzaade. The film is enjoying a tremendous run in Punjabi with around 4 crores coming in the first week. Even the Hindi version has brought home decent moolah while in overseas, it is matching steps with some of the biggie Bollywood flicks running there. With a lifetime run of over 10 crore expected just from India, Chaar Sahibzaade is a bumper success all the way, hence infusing life back in the animation industry which has been largely unproductive when it comes to films coming out of India.

Collections-The Shaukeens Aims At Weekdays, Rang Rasiya Doesn’t Rise, Chaar Sahibzaade Surprises

It was pretty much expected that The Shaukeens would take a decent start at the box office with collections in the range of 40%-50%. However, surprisingly the start was on a lower side with the first day a couple of crore less than what was on the cards. Still, what worked in the film’s favor was the positive word of mouth from those who saw it in theaters. As a result of that, the film found decent growth over the rest of the weekend, hence resulting in 18-19 crores coming in.

The film has two things going in its favor – Lack of competition and the cost. The only other Hindi film which has found some collections is Happy New Year and that too is much lower compared to The Shaukeens, considering the fact that it is in its third week. This means The Shaukeens has the stage set to find a stable week for itself. Secondly, the film has been made on a controlled budget and hence it should eventually sail through. What has been appreciated unanimously is Akshay Kumar’s act in the film and that is expected to pull more audience.
