The actor makes his directorial debut on the WWI drama and also stars

Warner Bros has acquired distribution to Russell Crowe‘s directorial debut “The Water Diviner.”

Crowe also co-stars in the World War I epic, which follows an Australian father who travels to Turkey to find his three sons who went missing in action during the battle of Gallipoli. Olga Kurylenko plays the owner of the hotel where Crowe's character stays.Warner Bros has acquired distribution to Russell Crowe‘s directorial debut “The Water Diviner.”

Oscar winner Jared Leto is circling a key role in David Ayer‘s “Suicide Squad” that could prove to be The Joker, an individual familiar with the Warner Bros. project has told TheWrap.

Warner Bros. had no comment, while a representative for Leto did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Tom Hardy, Will Smith and Margot Robbie are in various stages of discussions to star in “Suicide Squad,” which David Ayer is directing and Charles Roven is producing. Jesse Eisenberg is also expected to reprise his role as Superman's mortal foe Lex Luthor, though no casting is confirmed at this time.

Ryan Gosling was initially sought to play The Joker but he was unwilling to sign a deal with options for multiple movies, according to one insider.

The 32-year-old posted a new snap of the super sweet tot via Twitter on Friday, with little River all bundled up in a white fuzzy jacket and a bright pink beenie with little brown ears. 

"Seriously, I want to squeeze her little cute face off!," she captioned the adorable candid. 

It seems like little River is never far from the "American Idol" alum's side -- in the past two months Clarkson's brought River to a concert and to the set of one of her music video shoots!

The Shaukeens: 1st Friday (Day 1) Box Office Collections

The Shaukeens has started off on an average note at the Domestic Box Office. After a below average opening in the morning shows, the film showed a slow growth on the first day. According to early estimates, the film has collected approximately 5 crores on 1st Friday i.e. Day 1 at the domestic box office.

With an average opening for morning shows, the film did not pick up much later in the day. The film has received mixed reviews and it is yet to see how the audiences are responding to the comedy drama during the weekend. The star cast of the film is well-known and Akshay Kumar who has a cameo in the film is certainly the highlight.

‘The Shaukeens’ Witnesses A Low Opening Day Occupancy | Box Office Report

The Shaukeens starring Akshay Kumar, Lisa Haydon, Annu Kapoor, Piyush Mishra and Anupam Kher in lead roles released today. The comedy drama is a remake of the 80s classic ‘Shaukeens‘ directed by Basu Chatterjee and has released with a good screen count of 2000 screens.

The films has started off low on the first day and the morning shows have shown 15-20% footfalls at multiplexes in metros. However, the fact that Akshay Kumar has a good fan following overall, the film is expected to do well in mass circuits compared to urban cities. The film needs a good word of mouth publicity to make good business in the weekend.

No doubt, The Shaukeens has a good buzz, thanks to the film’s music which has caught on well so far. Moreover, Akshay Kumar is stealing the limelight with his much-talked about cameo as he plays himself in the film and that is enough to drive people to theaters.

PK’s 1st Song Promo ‘Tharki Chokro’ To Release This Weekend

After the intriguing motion posters and the super quirky teaser of Aamir Khan’s PK was released, it’s time for us to get a sneak peek into the first song of the film. The first song promo of ‘Tharki Chokro‘ is all set to release this weekend in Delhi.

The song features Aamir Khan and Sanjay Dutt. A major portion of the film has been shot in Northern India and thus director Rajkumar Hirani decided to keep the song launch in Delhi. Titled ‘Tharki Chokro‘, the song is said to have a Rajasthani feel and has been crooned by Swaroop Khan.

The film also stars Anushka Sharma and Sushant Singh Rajput in lead roles. ‘PK‘ is slated to hit the theaters on 19th December.
