CHAAR SAHIBJAADE Is Heading For Highest Ever Grosser Record In Punjabi Market,Crosses 8.15 Cr Nett In Punjab
Film collected 3.55 cr nett plus in week one which was rock solid considering competition from Bollywood and low opening on Friday. Film trended so well on weekdays that all weekdays were higher than Friday numbers. 

Film started 2nd week even on higher note despite competition from another Punjabi release ''Baaz''. Filmcollected 55 lakhs nett on 2nd Friday which was more than double of 1st Friday. Film jumped big on 2nd Saturday and collected 77 lakhs nett and 88 lakhs nett on Sunday thus taking 2nd weekend total to 2.20 cr nett. 

Film added 48 lakhs nett, 52 lakhs nett, 56 lakhs nett and 59 lakhs nett on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday respectively. Film has collected 4.35 cr nett in 2nd week and now film stands with total of 8.15 cr nett in two weeks in East Punjab. 

Film will cross 11.75 cr nett Highest ever lifetime record of ''Jatt & Juliet 2'' which will be outstanding. This will be also new record for animation film in India and film might become highest grosser ever in Punjab for a Punjabi film. Film also collected 3.95 cr nett outside Punjab which is also a record. 

Film is doing phenomenal business in overseas market too and collect 1.75 million $ in 10 days and will easily cross 2.25 million $ minimum from here. This is again an all time record for a Punjabi film.

The Yash Chopra Memorial Award will be held in December in association with Dr. T Subbarami Reddy (MP), Anu Ranjan, President – Gr8! Entertainment. This year, the award is being conferred to Amitabh Bachchanand it was announced at a press meet held yesterday.Jury members Pamela Chopra, Hema Malini and Simi Grewal were present at this press meet. While Amitabh Bachchan has certainly contributed huge to Indian cinema, jury member, Simi Grewal said, “Yash Chopra was a legend and legends should be honoured. I am very proud to be associated with this award and we were unanimous in selecting Amitabh Bachchan as the recipient of this year’s award.”

Well, it seemed Hema Malini was busy doodling all through the press meet and even sketched her pet dog. Why so? It seems the actress would have been happy if Dharmendra had received the award.

When asked about if he deserves the award next year, she said, “You will have to ask Pam ji & Subbi ji regarding this. As far as I am concerned I am always happy when Dharam ji receives an award. I have been fortunate enough to have worked with Yash ji during my career and those moments will always be cherished.”

Aamir Khan’s Christmas release P.K. is just around the corner and he has fully dedicated his time to the film. Says an insider, “Now Aamir is fully working on P.K. round the clock and is completely focused on the film. He is eating, breathing and sleeping P.K. and has completely blocked everything else out.”He is constantly hanging around Rajkumar Hirani and is not leaving his side. The actor is wholly immersed in the world of P.K.

Adds the insider, “There are only 43 days remaining for the release of the film and Aamir is going to spend each and every day working on the film. He has suspended all engagements till new year.”

Kill Dil(2014) Hindi Movie 1st Week Collections Starring Ranveer Singh,Ali Zafar,Parineeti Chopra,Govinda

Kill Dil couldn’t quite recover after a below average weekend at the box office.The film collected just around 29 crore. Now these were the bare minimum collections expected on the weekend itself, not the entire week. Since Happy Ending is releasing this week, one doesn’t see this Yash Raj film covering much of a distance in its second week. As a result, the film’s collections would be 35 crore at maximum, which is pretty low for a Ranveer Singh starrer commercial entertainer.

What’s Good: The light and breezy feel good milieu, glossy gorgeous frames, the fantastic cinematography, the killer dialogues, the straight faced Saif and ‘above all’ the Kickass Mr. G.

What’s Bad: A semi tenuous second half which falls into the pitfalls and loopholes peculiar to the genre of romantic comedies.

Loo break: Not many.

Watch or Not?: Disguised as a spoof on romantic comedies, Happy Ending does it all – from boy meets girl, to boy-girl fall in love, boy-girl break up and boy-girl re-unite; but the usual drill is peppered with some wit, tonnes of wicked humor, piquant dialogues and infused in an enticing gorgeous set up. Don’t judge me if I have ogled at the shots of a BMW cruising its way through the Pacific Bay Coast, that’s what romantic comedies do! And I am happy to inform you that Happy Ending does the floss and the formula with utter brilliance. I won’t call it a perfect film but I laughed at multiple cues, didn’t get all sappy at their breakup and came out smiling. I am not someone who will buy into the maudlin world of ‘Aashiqui’ brand of romance and for me Happy Ending just fits well – live one day at a time, why do you need to know where you are headed and yet, being in love while you walk through the tunnel whose end is dark. I strongly recommend you watch it, because it’s dollops of happy whoopee.
