Happy Ending opened on a low note. The film starring Saif Ali Khan, Ileana D’Cruz and Govinda.
The film collected Rs. 4.00 crores at the domestic box office.
In spite of receiving decent reviews, the film witnessed a dull opening. Targeted at the urban centric audience mainly, naturally the film struggled in the mass centers. The footfalls in metros such as Mumbai, Delhi, Pune was average.Considering that it was a solo release, Happy Ending gained a decent screen count and has no competition from the previous week’s release as Kill Dil is making a disappointing business. A healthy positive word of mouth can give this film a required push over the weekend.
