The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 opened to an $55 million on Friday, which is easily the biggest opening day of the year so far.Movie Starring By Jennifer Lawrence,Josh Hutcherson,Liam Hemsworth,Woody Harrelson,Donald Sutherland And Directed By Francis Lawrence.
Unfortunately, it's a big step back from the last two Hunger Games movies: Catching Fire opened to $71 million last year, while the original Hunger Games debuted to $67.3 million back in 2012.Mockingjay also opened below the penultimate chapters of the Twilight and Harry Potter franchises ($71.2 million and $61.7 million, respectively).
